SpaceHack™ is a first-of-its-kind design residency with MassChallenge, the world’s largest global startup accelerator and competition. Through SpaceHack™, we will engage more than 120 startup teams in an iterative design process which will use MassChallenge headquarters as a laboratory to examine how work environments can be optimized for entrepreneurship.
We drew inspiration for the SpaceHack™ concept from computer hackathons, where technology innovators come together in intense periods of collaboration to solve challenges in real time. For SpaceHack™, we have relocated our own offices to the MassChallenge headquarters. By working directly alongside the startup teams, we will have the ability to develop and test a series of design hypotheses for the MassChallenge community.
Stay tuned to this page for updates on SpaceHack™ throughout the design process.
